Former Deputy Chief Executive of Independent Newspapers (Ireland) Ltd. Has worked in the newspaper industry for over 40 years at both national and regional levels.
He was Advertisement Director for the Independent Group through the 80’s and 90’s and was centrally involved in the introduction and management of the technological transitions at all levels of newspaper production . More recently he was Managing Director of Independent’s regional newspapers in the North East.
A Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and a Director of the Advertising Standards Authority in Ireland, he is a member of the Committee of the Joint National
Readership Survey for Ireland.
