Danny Lynch   Danny Lynch, a Private Secretary to a Government, Minister at 25, had the distinction of working in that capacity with Ministers of all the three main political parties. It was there that he honed his skills in script writing and he was amongst the first group of press officers assigned to individual Departments.
Danny spent the last twenty years as Public Relations Manager of the GAA. In that time he became the voice and face of the organization in what was its most evolutionary and revolutionary period. He oversaw and managed the introduction of live television of games on an expanded scale, the inception of local radio and the massive increase and focus in the print media. He handled the many core issues and historic decisions taken by the GAA, such as the lifting of the ban on the police and army in Northern Ireland playing Gaelic Games and the opening of Croke Park to Soccer and Rugby. He played a key role in the reconstruction of Croke Park and his contribution and popularity is well chronicled in the many media tributes to him following his recent retirement from the GAA.
