Johnny O’Hanlon, was appointed Director of the Regional Newspapers and Printers Association of Ireland in January 2009 following the retirement of Neville Galloway. He previously held the position of Managing Editor of The Anglo Celt, the Cavan based regional newspaper of record since 1846.
A seasoned newspaper man Johnny worked as both Advertising Manager and Editor at the Anglo Celt during his 27 year career. As a member of the Regional Newspapers Association for some 15 years, including a term as President in 2002/03, his new role as Director of the Association is a natural progression following his retirement from the Anglo Celt.
