Padraig Slattery founded Slattery Communications in 1982. He is a former honorary treasurer and board member of the PRCA.
Identifying at a very early stage clients needs for specialisation within the service offerings of Public Relations consultancies, in the late 80’s he created a range of separate divisions within Slattery Communications. These included Corporate, Consumer, Environment, Sport and Sponsorship divisions, today Slattery Communications has evolved into 14 distinct practise offerings. During his career he has pioneered a number of communications avenues including the setting up of Ireland’s first dedicated Sponsorship Consultancy, Slattery Pascoe Associates, in partnership with Alan Pascoe of UK athletics fame. More recently, in partnership with American Consultancy WMG, he has overseen the sale of the Naming Rights for the new Aviva Stadium.
