His publishing career spans over 25 years, taking him from a fresh-faced intern at The Phoenix to various roles with BBC Magazines and Redwood Publishing in the UK. In 2001 Richard moved to North America as Vice-President of Redwood North America before returning to Ireland to take the helm at Image Publications in 2005. Reflecting his passion and commitment to the magazine industry, Richard is also the current Chairperson of PPA Ireland, the industry body for over 200 consumer, consumer specialist, business and professional magazines in Ireland (north and south).
